I am so excited to share this masculine birthday card idea with you today for a couple of reasons. The first is because I think it's a great way to start off the New Year is with an adorable project that won't take you a ton of time. The second reason…. this is my FIRST official project as a Design Team member with Brass and Bliss! WOOHOO!!
If you have never heard of them, they are another family owned stamp company with adorable stamps and coordinating dies, funny sentiments and beautiful papers.
As I have been looking for companies I wanted to work with, they were at the top of the list after several friends recommended them and then two stampers that let me know that at stamp expo's, they are the first booth they go to. Both of those combined made this a company I would love to work with!
Today's card features a fun stamp and die set called Backyard BBQ and features a full size grill and an assortment of BBQ tools and different coordinating items.
I chose to start with their fun ink cubes called Color Fuse Inks. They come in sets of 4 and blend together beautifully! I used inks from 5 different sets to go with a bright assortment. And their Faux Watercolor Squares are the perfect set to pair with it.
Then all you have to do is some quick stamping with some of the accessories on top of the stamped squares.
Add a sentiment on top plus a die cut grilling tool colored in and you are set!

I made this to be a birthday card, but you can change out the sentiment for anything else.

I also used my OLO Markers to color in the spatula. I used OR 2.5 and C-G 3.
