It's that time of year, where we celebrate love being in the air! And since we do so much of that with cell phones right now, why not combine our love of card making with a cute little cell phone image?
Sound confusing? Let's see if I can clear that up.
There is a new stamp set by Crafty Stamp Co that is on pre-release through 1/31/25 but then will be available after the full release day mid-February. But this is a card you can make year round, don't worry about that.
The stamp set is called Kittens & Kisses and in that stamp set is this cute little cell phone image. It's not one of the main stamp sets, but it's one of my favorites!
When I first started creating this card, I started with one small cell phone and for an A2 size card, it got a little lost. So I decided to stamp and color in 3. I used my beloved OLO Markers to color in these delightful cellphones.
A quick turn of the scissors and these images were ready to go.

Next up was to create a background. I LOVE her Ink Splat stencils, Each set has 2 stencils in it. I used Ink Splat #2 to create my background. Just pick an ink pad of your choice and a blending brush and you have an instant background!
A little sprinkle of Dr. Ph. Martin's black ink helps add even more depth to your background.

All that was missing was our sentiment. From the Love & Coffee stamp set, I used part of a sentiment. The full sentiment says “Love is in the air and it smells like coffee”, but I only used the “Love is in the air” section of it. Which to me goes perfectly with the cell phone images.
And there we have it! A handmade Love is In the Air card!
