It was love at first site when I came across the Christmas Inchies stamp set. If you know me at all, you know I LOVE cute and whimsical images the best.

And this stamp set brings that for sure!

As cute as small images are, they can also be a bit of a challenge because they are small and don't take up much room.

So what's a card maker to do?

Here's my favorite tip on doing that…

Break up the space with some fun patterned paper and some die cut frames!

The frames on this card come from a very unique cover plate die. It's one die, but it creates SEVEN different size frames. You can pick and choose whichever frames you want for your card and you can use the others on other projects.

For me, when I saw this die, it was different from anything else in my craft room, so it caught my attention. It's not a set of nested dies, instead each frame will have a different pattern to it.

Not only will these frames tone down any busy patterned paper, but it also fills space when you are working with a small image, like the Christmas Inchies stamp set.

Let me show you the card…

How fun is this? I love the bright red background patterned paper and do you see what I mean about those frames having different patterns? You wouldn't think that they came from the same die, would you?

And then that Santa, how stinkin' cute is he? And that sentiment comes from an entire stamp set with Merry Christmas in all different fonts.

Some simple coloring and your card is ready to go!

Are you ready to give this one a go?

I hope so! And if you are, here's a list of the supplies you will need.
