How to Store Your Framelits
Today's storage and organizational tip is for your framelits. I think the envelopes that they come in are great, so most of my framelits stay in those. But then how to do you store the envelopes?
Before iTunes, there were these great music things called CDs. And then along came iTunes, and this will actually save you $. So if you like this idea, and you are out and about and seeing someone downloading music on iTunes rather than buying a CD, tell them Thank You for saving you some coin.
I use CD holders to store my framelits. I can slide them in and out, they fit perfectly, and they aren't falling over in a box. You can get these for next to nothing these days, I grabbed mine at my neighbor's garage sale a few months ago for $.50!
This normally does not sit at my stamping area, but this way you can really see them. Now take a second and look at that top one. See how it says “Set of 6” under the name of the framelits? Thank you Sharpies for permanently staying on there for me and now I instantly know if one is missing.
Earlier I said that MOST of my framelits are stored in their envelopes. But there are some that I use all the time and want at my finger tips. Want to see how I use store my most often used framelits? That is posted on my Facebook Page today.
