Hey Sports Fan Suite Collection Stampin' Up!
I LOVE the Hey Sports Fan Suite Collection Stampin' Up! released in the Jan-June catalog. While I am not a sports fanatic, it's been a LONG time since we have had a great sports stamp set – and I have friends that are HUGE sports fans. So while I didn't order this on my first order with this catalog, I did with the second order I placed.
It's also been forever since I ordered the entire suite collection of products. I usually just pick a bundle and a few accessories, but this suite collection has just exactly what you need. Let me share it with you:
It's got the great stamp set with coordinating dies, baker's twine, paper, and resin stars that make the perfect accent on your projects. I was hesitant to get the stars, but don't regret it one bit. AND the best thing about the collection is, you can add the Hey Sports Fan Suite Collection Stampin' Up! release to your cart with one item number 157896. Let's talk about the paper really quick. Only about half of it is sports themed. So if you look at the non-sports side of the patterned paper, you will see some fantastic patterns for masculine or patriotic projects. It's so much fun to work with!
The Project
Here is the first project I made using this amazing collection:
Obviously I made this as a birthday card for a dad. The sentiments can easily be changed out to Father's Day.
Using some of the patterned paper as a backing and then stamped and die cut layers, this card comes together faster than you might think. It's super cute and easy to make! And I love the Resin Stars on it. I made it without them at first and then added them – and to be honest – I let out a little squeal once they were added.
Then I added some of the matching patterned paper to my envelope flap to help it all come together, making a stunning set of card and envelope!
