No, it's not a family reunion card but I used the Family Reunion stamp set from Stampin' Up! to Make a handmade birthday card.
My aunt's birthday was this past month and I kinda forgot! Now I am home from our vacation and needed to make a card to send back home with my wonderful mom that stayed with Emily – so she can give it to my aunt. I hope my aunt knows how much I love her, because I can barely keep my eyes open after our 30 hour adventure getting home from Fiji that ended at 3am this morning, but I am still stamping for her!
This card features the Print Poetry patterned paper from Stampin' Up! – quick reminder, you only have a couple of weeks left to stack up on this paper before it retires – and then I used the Family Reunion Stamp Set, that is also about to retire to create this card.
Often I get asked about my retiring stamps, the ones that I have bought that then retire. I get asked if I sell them off or keep them and the answer is YES! I do both. There are some stamps that after a few years you do get tired of. And some were gifts from the company and weren't really my style. And then there are the keepers. I keep a ton of them, there is evidence of that in every room of our house. This one, the Family Reunion, is a keeper. Because it is really hard to find stamps that say Aunt or Uncle, teacher or -in-law. If those are words that you need for either your cards or scrapbook pages, then I suggest you get it while you still can.
This is everything that you get in the Family Reunion stamp set:
I hope that she enjoys this card, not just because I made it for her half exhausted, but because I really like and love the colors in it.
