Friday Flip:  Making a Handmade Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to a new Friday Flip where we will be making a handmade birthday card!

I am excited you are here as today we do our first ever Friday RE-Flip!  There is a card I made a while back that I am still just so in love with, I couldn't wait to use the idea to make my daughter's birthday card.

And she hasn't and won't see it until the end of June, but I know she will love this card.  She also loved the inspiration card and asked what else I was going to do with it, so it was perfect to flip just for her!

Here is our inspiration project:

Here is what I love about it:

1.  Layout.  Simple, fun, trendy.

2.  Colors.  Black and white with pops of color.

3.  That ribbon and candy dot on the circle.  LOVE IT!

So I wanted to keep all the same elements, and FLIP it into a handmade birthday card.

Here is the Friday Flip video tutorial where I do just that:

So here is our finished handmade birthday card:

I kept the layout, kept the black and white with a pop of color, and kept the ribbon/candy dot features that I liked so much!
