I know I do! So today I am sharing a tip with you on how I easily create a custom die cut look using my stamp as a stencil.

Intrigued?

I hope so!

This card is full of elements that I love. It has a stencil, a fabulous sentiment, ribbon, and a bow. That's really it. Oh, and a cute outline border stamp that I am seriously addicted to!

The only missing, is that it doesn't have coordinating dies.

But with a smidge of patience and a pencil, we can easily tackle that.

We are going to start with the sentiment stamp itself. I recommend using a tool like the Stencil and Stamp Tool to hold your card stock in place. Then simply trace around your stamp follow the outline of the sentiment. This works about 99% of the time unless the stamp shape was cut wonky.

Then you are going to stamp your sentiment and cut around your pencil lines. Make sure you have a great eraser to use later on after you cut it out.

Want to see how this all looks as a card? Here ya go!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that stencil! And the stamp set has was love at first site, I hope it is never discontinued!

How well does this card come together? And you don't need a ton of supplies.

Speaking of supplies, let me share that list with you.
