Today we are doubling up on our stenciling! When I first saw these new stencils from Crafty Stamp Co, I couldn't wait to use them together to create a unique background.
If you know me at all, you know that I love polka dots. So of course, I had to have the polka dot stencil. But then when I saw the Yikes & Frights, I feel in love with this stencil with words on it.
I don't have a lot of stencils that have just words on them, so I was drawn to it instantly. I love trying new things.
Whether you are using one or two stencils, it doesn't matter how many, make sure you have a great platform to keep the stencils from shifting. Shifting stencils is not good. It's just not. And it never happens in the beginning, always at the end and then you trying to cover it up and make it work. Blah.
And card making should be blah.
I used my Stencil and Stamp Tool and as you can tell, neither stencil shifted.
After I had my background complete, all I needed was the right images and top sentiment. You don't have to have a top sentiment, this stencil alone could handle it, but I love the sentiment I chose, so it had to be on there.
Let me share the creation with you:

How fun is this?!?!?
Those cute ghosts with that sentiment on top of that double stenciled background – y'all – this is the good stuff!
This card came out so bright and cheery, I couldn't wait to share it with you.
I hope you are inspired to make it yourself!
