We packed up and headed out of town to visit my in-laws. Our first brief stop was in Amarillo, TX. We were there just over night, and it took 9 hours to get to that stop. We were arriving in Amarillo when it started to rain! We have not had rain but one time since March, so quite a glorious sight!
We got up yesterday and drove the rest of the way on our trip to Clapham, NM. What is in Clapham? NOTHING! Population of 3. There used to be a post office and a school, but those have been closed for a really long time. There used to be internet at my father-in-law's, and there still is, but it took 15 minutes just to bring up my email, so not really internet!
