If you know me at all, you know my FAVORITE color to stamp with is a bright red.
When I am in a creative slump, red is my go-to color.
Color was the topic of our most recent Stamping Family Zoom, we all talked about our favorite color combinations and made cards with our favorites.
Then the conversation turned to creative slumps and how to get out of them!
We now have a whole thread on creative jump starts with tons of ideas already shared. One of them I posted was to use a tool that you haven't used in a while.
And I did exactly that!
That's my Stamp and Spin from Sizzix – it's an attachment for the Stencil and Stamp Tool.
I don't use it all the time because I don't want to stamp circle patterns all the time. But when I do use it, I LOVE how it comes out.
So I had my Rockin' Red ink pad along with my Stamp and Spin Tool, all I needed was a stamp set!
I thumbed through a box and in under a minute, I pulled out this Appley Ever After set.
–> Fun Fact: This is the first Catherine Pooler Designs stamp set I ever used. So it holds a special place in my heart. I remember my first Stampin' Up! stamp set, my first Ranger stamp set, my first Gina K stamp set – they all leave a lasting impression!
With knowing the main color, the stamp set, and the tool I wanted to use, this card came together quite quickly.
I do love how I did the sentiment with the two different colors, just a smidge different!
