It's Tuesday so we have another one of my Stampin' Up! Hallween Cards 2017 for my Eight Weeks of Halloween countdown! Halloween will be here before you know it and I like to give little treats to friends and colleagues as a chance to be a little nostalgic. Take a look:

Super cute, right? I am totally in love with that little coffee cup in the Coffee Cafe Bundle Framlit set and the moment I saw those scaredy-eyes in the Spooky Cat Stamp Set, I just saw them on a teeny sleeve on the teeny cup. (Hey, creative genius strikes at odd times in odd ways, what can I say?) I cut a black cup and a Pumpkin Pie cup, trimmed the top and bottom off the orange cup and – voila! – a hot sleeve!

I crack up every time I see that little cup! I was sort of looking around for something spidery because of the “scream” in the greeting and when I saw the Black Vintage Crochet Trim I thought it was sort of spider webbish. I pulled out my 10 Second Bow Maker and got that teeny tiny bow just right and popped it on there. LOVE it!

I also cut my strip of DSP down the center and adhered it a bit apart to let more of that awesome texture from the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder show through.

I also used Very Vanilla for both the embossed panel and the card base for a really stunning look with no extra work or supplies. Remember that using a panel and card base in the same color adds a ton of depth!

Here's what I used to make this super cute card:

Because I can make a batch of these in short time, I am going to do just that, put a gift card inside for a seasonal hot beverage – Pumpkin Spice SOMETHING no doubt! – and treat my friends. How many people do you know who would love a Halloween treat even though they are tool old to put on a hot and sweaty costume and go begging door to door?

Check back every week for a new Stampin' Up! Halloween Cards 2017 example!
