I am always so amazed any time that I do not have internet access how much I use it! And this week was no exception! Thank you, thank you, thank you Russell (my mom's IT guy) for coming out here multiple times this week and restored us back to internet glory!
Since I have been gone, I am trying to read through all of my emails and let me thank you again for your patience as we work through "challenges" like we never have before. But I have partial news….
We found a house! It is awesome, we are under contract and the closing is going ssllllooowwweeerrrr than we anticipated. So since we were living in a hotel that is RIGHT next the train and Matt has to sleep during the day and Emily has to run and jump and play during the day, Emily and I adopted refuge status and fled to Houston. We have been staying here to avoid the train, I mean so that Matt can sleep.
But this next week we should be moving in, please pray for us that we do. Our family really does better when we are all together. If anyone would like to move boxes next week, let me know, I have got a couple.
And speaking of couple, the nicest couple bought our house. We had a lovely visit with them last Sunday. So if you ever go to the wrong house, no worries, the Martinez family is a delight and they love their new home the way we did. And they also promised to always lie to me if I ask if they painted Emily's room. I just have to know that it will stay the same forever.
OK, onto stamping!!!! You should see my mom's dining room. It has been transformed into my stamp room and is covered in awesome projects! My sister and I stayed up late last night and cranked out a fun line of projects that you will hear more about soon. And then today was like Christmas – my mini catalog order came!!! From pumpkins to Christmas, and everything in between!
You should be receiving your copy of the not-so-mini, mini catalog any day now. And I will include a fun contest in my newsletter that will go out shortly, be on the lookout for that newsletter in the next day or two.
We have had internet for just about an hour, so bear with me as I try to tackle all the tech items on my to do list.
I cannot wait to share our new home with you! And no words can express how much your kind phone calls and emails have meant to us during all of this hoopla – it was much easier to buy a home 7 years ago!
