I LOVE a great cover plate die. Many times you order them and they aren't the right size or proportion. But when they are right, they are right!!!
I love them because you can make such amazing looking cards without much work at all. You look like a card making rockstar, with just ink and some card stock. And that's a total win in my books.
Today's card uses some bright and vibrant colors of ink and a simple sentiment, finished with coordinating sequins.
Intrigued? I hope so!
Playing With New Inks
Playing with new inks has been so much fun. It's completely crazy the power of colors! A new color palette will refresh any of your current supplies.
Each brand of ink works a little bit different, so when I first start out with a new brand of ink, my first goal is to just get it onto card stock.
And this card is a direct result of that.
These inks are from Catherine Pooler. They are a foam ink pad, and the ink pad is insanely easy to open.
For my friends that have struggled with opening ink pads, the lids of these just lift off. Easy peasy!
