Use some basics and one seasonal element to make a super cute Halloween card in no time!
This simple card show you how you can make a Halloween card that is totally send-worthy using one seasonal die with some basic die cuts for a big effect. And while you can use any sentiment you like, I snagged one from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit because it was so perfectly simple to go with the whole look.
A great bonus is that this card is an excellent way to use up scraps. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE using up scraps?
I almost feel silly giving you the “instructions” because there's zero trick to this card! Cut circles of paper from your scrap stash – I used the classic, upbeat combo of bright green, purple and orange – and overlap then down the left side of a card sized panel of white card stock.
Dig into that baggie of black scraps and cut some bats and pop them over the circles. Grab one of those leftover pieces of ribbon and make a little bow with your 10 Second Bow Maker. Stamp and die cut a sentiment. Bibbity bobbity boom – a card that's a real treat!

Now, I've had some people ask “Do people really send Halloween cards?”. And the answer, based on a casual poll I asked in my fabulous community, Stamping Family, is “YES!” People say they will make a Halloween card just to have an excuse to send something cute to someone they miss, someone they know needs a boost and also to give to all the delivery people we all seem to be seeing more of these days.
So you can rest assured that if you make a Halloween card you will likely have a perfectly good reason to send it! XOXO, Meg
