Today's project is going to feature the new Pop Up Posies Kit from Stampin' Up! and I paired it with the Bitty Banners stamp set.  I needed some bright colors on this Monday morning to open my bleary eyes.  I even made a video for this card, but I sound half asleep and no one wants to hear that!  So no video, but you still get to see the pretty card!

I will share with you what I love and what I don't love about the Pop Up Posies kit.  First, I am a kit lover. So I am always drawn to them.  I saw a kit, I bought the kit, I stared at the kit….  Let's start with what I don't love.  I don't love the cupcake holder thingies.  I think they look like cupcake holders.  Now, before I go any further – I am thinking they would be super cute on a baking scrapbook page, or would make a cute tag for a baker, there is a ton you can do with them, but for traditional "flower" making, I am going to have to go with a no.  What do I love?  The brads and the thick baker's twine, I hope to see more of this thick baker's twine.  I like the paper flower pieces.  I LOVE the tags in this kit – let's hope we see more of those.  You get 9 embossed tags, yep, the cute border is already there, no diecutting, no punching, nuttin'!  If I could fit into one of those tags, I would wear them!

So…  I am on my second package of these.  I have used up everything from the first kit except for the cupcake holder.  OH, and I just remembered this…  it comes with a stamp!  I forgot it came with the stamp or else I probably would have used it!  See, I told you it was a Monday!  And so if you are wondering what I did with the second kit stamp, I am giving it to my sister – I hope she is not reading this.

One day I will have to tell you all more about my sister – one day…
