So Stampin Blends – ready to learn more?

What are Stampin Blends?  They are a paper crafters delight!

But really, what are they?  They are an alcohol based marker from Stampin' Up.  Each color has both a light and a dark marker that can be purchased individually or together in a combo pack.

Because they are manufactured by Stampin' Up!, they were done with the exclusive color line from Stampin' Up! – and that's one of the best features about Stampin' Up! – their color coordination.

Years ago, when I was a wee young stamper, I liked a lot that SU offered, but what really sucked me in was their product coordination, specifically with their colors.

  • For example, you can get Night of Navy in:
  • Ink Pad & Refill
  • Marker
  • Card Stock
  • Ribbon
  • Patterned Paper
  • Stampin Blend

And if you have ever tried to match up navy's before – you know what a royal pain in the booty it is to do!  I truly don't like buying anything that I know isn't going to work well together, so I love that I can buy with 100% confidence in color coordination through Stampin' Up!

I LOVE coloring with Copic markers.  Wait – let me back up… I LOVE the effect I get coloring with my Copics.  But I haven't used them in years because, going back to Night of Navy, I had to use 7 different blues to get it to look right with my Night of Navy card stock.  And then you factor in how much time I was spending, and so they just didn't get used.

With Stampin Blends, I use two markers, sometimes even just one, and it looks great all the time.  So I actually use them – brilliant concept, huh?

It's one thing for me to talk about them, it's another to show you.  Below are a handful of videos to get you started.  There are also links to other Stampin Blends videos to get you going.
