Even though I have SO much more to share about the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, I just couldn't wait to share one of the treat bag ideas I came up with for this year's holidays. Take a look:
This is clearly a Christmas idea but thanks to the Mini Treat Bags Thinlits these adorable little giftables can be made using ANY Designer Series Paper, Specialty Paper or Cardstock and by just changing out the red and the greeting – everything else can stay the same – you've got a stinkin' cute project done in a flash!
Remember what I said yesterday about how easy to use that Striped Ribbon is? Well, I have now tried it on a slew of projects and man, is it CUTE! I use the 10 Second Bow Maker and those loops stay just perfect thanks to the fine wire in the edging. Some companies use a thicker gauge wire which will support the loops BUT can also kink and ruin the loop if it's pinched too tightly. Stampin' Up! opted to use the finer gauge, absorb the additional cost and give us a significantly better product. And the simple black and white stripes works with just about anything as you can see here. Here's a better peek at that adorable bow:
Picture this project with Halloween paper, an orange tag, a greeting stamped in orange – perfect, right? It really is as easy as swapping out the treat bag base and the greeting and you just can't run out of adorable treat bag ideas! Did I mention these are absolutely perfectly sized for gift cards? I don't know about you, but I give more and more gift cards every year and “wrapping” them is a challenge. With these endless treat bag ideas, this is something you can use year round.
Here are the other products I used to make this project – remember that I am predicting that ribbon is going to GO so get yours now because this is a hard to find product!
Let's take one last peek:
Get a leg up on your holiday craziness this season and make that list of gift cards you will be giving. Then use this as your jumping off point for all the cute little treat bag ideas you can think of and get at least these off your list!
