Are you enjoying the easy DIY Halloween cards I am sharing this year in the Eight Weeks of Halloween countdown? I have heard from some of you and you are quite enthusiastic about it! As I said before, I am limiting my projects to just a few core products so you can get the most out of your supplies and still look like a Halloween treatin' rock star!

This is a card that was inspired by the Step-It-Up series on Stamping Family. We take simple and cute cards, share them on the site and then we all learn little tricks and tips to elevate our cards to something a little more special or fancy or artistic with very little time and very little extras. It's one of my favorite things on the site and judging by the participation and the comments, it's a member fave, too!

Here's the first version of today's project:

Make some easy DIY Halloween Cards

You can see that this is a cute card. Not anything over the top, not a ton of detail but still adorable and send-worthy.

Here it is Stepped Up:

Make some easy DIY Halloween Cards stepped up with a few tiny additions

Wow, right? Like a totally different card with so many extras and that must be a pain and I bet it costs a ton more. NOPE! All we did was add black behind the greeting, vanilla behind the orange panel, additional words and a web stamped in black and teeny scrap of trim. That's IT!

Now you know why we all love the Step-It-Up series! I made a video for members to show them how fast and easy it was to add these little extras to go with the hundreds of other class, tutorial and tip videos already on Stamping Family.

Here are the things you will need to make this card, either in its original state or Stepped Up!

Check back each week – and in between! – for lots more easy DIY Halloween cards!
