How To Make Cool Cards Out Of Paper

Ice cream – cool – get it?

One of the reasons I LOVE themed patterned paper, like this sheet from Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper, in the Occasions Catalog (pg 32), is that you can let the paper do the “work” for you and just add some cute embellishments like I did here with the little spoon and the paper strips. Here's a peek at the greeting up close:

Seriously, is that not ADORABLE?

Here's a tip about how to make that spoon look ready enough to dive into one of those sweet sundaes:

Stamp the spoon using the stamp from the Cool Treats set before cutting with the framelit from the Frozen Treats Framelits Die set. This gives the spoon just enough “texture” to look like it's a true 3-D embellishment.

I added a teeny tiny bow made with the 10 Second Bow Maker just to dress things up and add another element of dimension to this little adornment.

Now you just need the supplies – and that's a quick fix 🙂
