Stampin Up Pretty Label Punch Mat
Welcome to a new Friday Video – today is one that shows you how to create a Stampin Up Pretty Label Punch Mat! You only need one punch and you will get two layers out of it. Please be sure to read on below the video… there's good stuff there 🙂
Here are the supplies you will need to create this card:
Quick Order List:
Many of the supplies have a price of $0.00 – that means they are a Sale-a-Bration item and are gift with purchase goodies.
Ready to see the video?
Alrighty then…
As always, I hope that this video inspires you. That is my ultimate goal – not that you love the card or love the layout, simply in hopes that you feel inspired to take what you saw and go make something!
One of the things I have been working on in the past two years is me. Who am I? What am I doing in this world? It started with weight loss and getting rid of 70lbs of burden from my life. I knew I would need all the extra energy I could get to work on the rest 🙂
The rest: What drives me? What is my purpose?
YOU drive me. That might sound a bit cliche, but it's the truth. I have a helper mentality – I am at my best when I share something and then someone else runs with it and shares their creations with the world. And I never need the credit for it.
Is that best in the business world? Not so much 🙂
I am not an “in your face” demonstrator – I am not one that wants to pressure anyone into buying – I am so not a “look at me” person. Recently I was really criticized, REALLY criticized, for not having more sales in the Stampin' Up! world. Not by the company, not by my upline, but from a friend that says that with as much content that I create and share, I should be crushing it with my sales. Then she started to tell me everything I was doing wrong.
And my heart started racing, but not in a good way. I love working and I love working hard. I love a goal and I love a challenge. But it has to be true to who I am. I don't want to be dishonest, or pushy, etc.
So now is where I ask for your help.
My goal and my why for this goal: I have to increase my sales. Why? I have to get my daughter out of the house!!! For those of you who don't know, she is homeschooled. I am not her teacher, but it does require a lot of my time. She thrives in a Christian based education and that means private school. She does not handle large classes well. And she is ready to go back to school and be around more kids everyday. (She is around kids all the time with cheer, but that is a team of 22, and while she loves the sport, it's too big a team for her.)
I am really proud of this decision of her to want to go back to school and she is amazingly excited about it. And I want to give that to her.
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and I want to know who is in my village?
Here is my plan for this so far…
- Adding in more online classes
- Growing Stamping Family
- Increasing Stampin' Up! product sales (without being in your face about it)
That's what I got…
For those in my village, what do you want to see? What am I not doing to rock your world?
What would excite you to join me on this journey?
When does the journey start? It starts today. Right now. Not on Monday, not in March, TODAY!
My passion is in creating content that inspires other to create – I know I do a good job at it – but what would make it GREAT FOR YOU?
And not just to make more money for my Emily's education, this is a “tide raises all boats” situation – a true Win-Win! We all get what we want.
Please leave me a comment or email me if you would prefer. I honestly want to know exactly what you want.
Thank you so much for taking the time today to read this and to answer my questions, you are the best!
And I hope you enjoyed the Stampin Up Pretty Label Punch Mat video 🙂
You are awesome Meg. I love everything you do. Your cards are always beautiful and easy to make. Your color choices are fabulous and your instruction is clear and easy to follow. Thank you
You are so sweet Nina – thank you!
I loved the advanced card classes that you did several years ago. Maybe start those up again.
Love the card and the colors n that punch idea is awsome ..:-) love it
Thank you so much Charlen!
I always enjoy your videos, Meg, and have learned a lot from watching them. I admire your desire to help your daughter get the education she is ready for. Our relationships are so important!
I appreciate learning how to get more mileage out of the Pretty Label Punch. That was very useful for me today.
I hope and pray you are able to meet your goals. Thanks for sharing your faith.
Thank you so much Patricia!!
Meg, Although I don’t purchase from you cause you’re in Texas and I’m in Maryland, I do subscribe to your newsletter and videos. You inspire me to get supplies out and make cards. You have given me many tips that I tuck away for future reference and your videos are so uplifting. You give me confidence to “push the envelope” and create something from my own head instead of just caseing other’s designs. I start with those and change them around, like your Friday Flips suggest I do, keeping what I like and changing the rest. My advice to you is keep doing what you do best and follow your heart. I like low-key salespeople and tend to buy from them instead of high preasure salespeople. If I lived in your area, you would be my demonstrator because of your personality alone.
Was the “friend” who chewed you out another demonstrator? Everyone has their own way of selling something and she shouldn’t push her ways on you. Find what works for you and stay with it. I think you already have done that.
Good luck with your daughter’s re-intro to school and more kids around her. Let’s hope she remains excited about this change in her life. Socialization teaches us so many things, good and bad, and I know you’ll be right there to support her.
I love watching your videos. I would be interested in purchasing advanced classes. I can’t afford to buy a lot of Stampin Up products but I do love them. May God continue to bless you.
Thank you for all the teaching you do for me, I appreciate it but can’t order from you as I live in England. I hope you reach all your goals and give your daughter what she wants and needs. I wish you well.
Thank you so much Rachel!
Loved the way you did today’s card and how you made the pretty label mat. Will need to try this soon.
Good morning. As I have said before for me your approach to teaching all of us is awesome. This being said I love to learn new things. The tips in the video today were very useful and another product is now on my list of wanted. I would also like to have more opportunities to purchase products on sale.
I am thrilled Emily is ready to head back to school and prefers a smaller class and friend base. I hope you reach your goals in doing this for her as well as you.
Hugs, Pam
Thank you sweet Pam!!
I love your videos literally all of them. I am a hobbyist/demonstrator and you always
inspire me with your projects. I would admit that my favorite are the “Flip” cards. I have
a hard time getting rid of retired sets and love to get ideas from you to make them new again. Also, I love how organized you are in your videos and how they go so smoothly and quickly. I appreciate all your work that you share so graciously. Best wishes to your daughter as she makes new strides. God bless.
Thank you so much for your feedback Lynndorian! I so appreciate it!
Great idea on the label mat, will absolutely do this! Love your videos!
Thank you so much Gay!
Thanks so much for sharing with us Meg. I love your openness!
I’m so excited for you and your family as you embark on this transition. I’m confident that Emily will thrive. Yes, it will have its challenges, but with your awesome support success is certain.
I love your videos and you are big source of inspiration for me. I would love to be able to buy some of your online classes in Australia. I wasn’t able to see where I could buy your online classes… I’m not yet part of your “Stamping Family”so perhaps that’s why I can’t see the online classes for sale?
All your free content blows me away. There is so much! How do find time for everything!
As a fairly new stamper, all the videos you share are very helpful & informative. So I say keep sharing new cards & new ways to mix & match supplies. I keep a list of “wants” and order when I can.
Cool Card easy to follow
Thank you Alice!!
I subscribed to SF years ago and don’t remember why I stopped…but the thing I do remember is there were not many 3D items, such as treat boxes, bags, etc, which is actually my favorite kind of project. People are always looking for ideas for favors or small gifts with cute packaging, so maybe you could add some classes for those kinds of projects.
Excellent feedback Sharon – thank you so much!
Loved your tutorial for today’s card and products. I just bought the bowmaker and am anxious to try it out
Awesome Margaret!!! I am sure you will love it!
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Very nice technique with the matting.
Congratulations on your weight loss. That is awesome. I never realize you had that much to lose, but you look great and I am sure you feel better physically, etc. I am trying now to loose 70 lbs and it is hard.
Good luck with all your goals for yourself this year.
Hi Dianne! Thank you so much for your comment! It is hard, but totally worth it!!! Good luck to you with your journey 🙂
I loved your card! I have already purchased your bow maker.
Thank you!
Susan
Thank you Susan!
Excellent video – nice card! I like videos that demonstrate techniques rather than trying to sell me products. For some reason, I haven’t gotten any of your videos in quite a long time, but I hope to start getting them again (and by the way, your weight loss looks great!).
Thank you so much for your comment Sarah! There are still a ton of videos on youtube for ya!
I still remember coming up from Floresville several years ago to your event where we did several cards and projects in a “round robin” format. I would love to do that again. So many of the card/scrapbook stores in the San Antonio area have closed now and I miss going to classes and learning new techniques. I do enjoy videos but prefer the hands-on approach to card-making and scrapbooking.
Just keep on doing what you do best, cos I’m learning from you all the time. Many thanks
Thank you so much Sue!
Megan,
Many years ago, my friend and I used to attend various workshops you had at different locations. We always had so much fun and I still use a lot of the ideas I learned from them. My friend, Sandy and I wistfully talk about being able to do that again. With Archivers and their crops gone, it would be so fun to hang out with other crafters and learn things together . I know they were a LOT of work, but is this something you would consider doing once or twice a year? They were very inspiring to us. Thank you for all you do and best of luck in achieving your goals !
I love everyone of your videos, and your cards are beautiful!! I don’t think you need to change a thing!!
Thank you so much Pam!
Meg, your a sweetheart. Every time I have a problem I go to you. You always save me money when I order things.I love the cards you make. I know you worked hard to lose the weight. I know it is hard. You are doing great.
Thank you so much sweet Lori!
One word: ADORABLE!!!
The card, the idea, and YOU!

Love this card! The pattern paper is so cute! Many times I thought about getting the triple banner punch and finally decided it’s time to order one. So I dd. 🙂
Meg I love your videos and tutorials. I am new at paper crafting and have learned souch from you. I don’t have a lot of products from Stamping Up but I hope to be able to purchase more products in the future. Keep up the good work and all the best to you!
