Ever wish there was one place to find all the current Stampin Up Background Stamps? Sometimes they are buried throughout the catalog making them hard to spot.
I LOVE background stamps because you can rapidly take a card from simple to stunning – all with one giant image.
My favorites are those that add texture. The two absolute favorites being the Watercolor Wash and the Hardwood – both of these are Stampin Up Background stamps.
Which is my least favorite you might wonder? The pineapple background stamp. I just don't get it. Why stamp a giant pineapple as a background?
One thing I often forget to do when using these giant stamps is that you can heat emboss with them. It creates an even more stunning effect – and you can do a lot with different kinds of powders – from clear to metallic and many in between.

The ones with all the words and fonts are a fabulous way of getting a ton of words with different fonts for a crazy low price. Some stamps cut them apart like puzzle pieces so they can use them individually or piece them back together on the big block to use as a background again. So many stamping opportunities!
