Today we are stenciling! And not just regular stencils, but layering stencils! We are going to be using the It's A Jungle Out There layering dies. These are so pretty and fun, I can't wait to share them with you.
And, of course, I have a video to show you this in all its colorful goodness.
These layering stencils are from Sizzix and they are designed to work with their Stencil & Stamp Tool.
You don't have to use this tool, they are still just stencils, but I love how these work so well together. And Sizzix even has these handy dandy re-usable adapters that you can put onto any stencil and make it work with their tool.
Stencils give us such a different background that patterned paper or a stamped background can give us. We can get more gradient shades of each color adding depth in a completely different way.
