That's right – just stamps – no fancy tools, no fussy cutting, no anything other than just the joy of rubber stamping. Sound boring? Well heck no!  The cards that I think are boring either end up in the trash OR get stashed away for rehab. But this one…….well, take a look:

A gorgeous card using just stamps

I am sure you know by now how I love a huge greeting and this card is the perfect example of how using one can both completely convey what you want to say and serve as a dynamic element on the card. Adding that little sprig of flowers adds a sweet touch and the ribbon in the opposite corner adds some balance. Here's a another peek:

Who says you can't make a beautiful card using just stamps

Now, this card could easily be changed into a more masculine card just by switching out the colors, substituting another image with just stamps in place of the flowers and leaving off the ribbon OR changing it out for twine or cord or another more rugged trip. Picture a sailboat and some white twine!

Here's one last peek at this card that is most definitely NOT boring made with just stamps:

Making a card with just stamps does NOT have to be boring

Use this card as a sketch inspiration and take a look at what greetings you have that can stand on their own as both the “what you want to say” part and design part of your card front. Remember to shop your stash and see what images from other sets you have that can either reinforce your message or are something your recipient will love. You will see that when you are in a rush or just need a quick crafting fix, making cards with just stamps can be very satisfying and yield some beautiful cards!
