Flower Shop from Stampin' Up! – How to Make an All Occasions Card

Don't gasp too loud as you realize that I made a paper crafts card on a Monday without polka dots.  I, too, was shocked, cuz that's kinda my thing, right?  But it just didn't work well for this card.

All of a sudden, I am finding myself needing cards for odd things.  I have no idea why, but things where I could really use a stash of ‘sentiment-less' cards that I can fill in later.

So today I dusted off a Sizzlit that I have a love/hate relationship with.  It is the Paper Doily Sizzlit.  Love it:  it is beautiful.  Hate it:  it is a pain in the tookous to punch out all the little pieces.  I rarely use it just because really, how long do you want to spend punching out all those doo-hick-ies?  Then I use it, and reality sets in, it doesn't take as long as I remember thinking that it does.

(I loved using it so much today that I actually started on another card using it already!)

I wanted a calm and soothing palette of colors, so I chose Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  And I wanted flowers.  So enter to the stage, Flower Shop!  (I am a sucker for bundles, anyone else?)

Stamped myself three flowers (and I did start with polka dots and changed it!), punched them out and popped them up with dimensionals and finished out the flowers with large pearls.

Then I ran a strip of Marina Mist card stock through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb embossing folder.

Did you see the cutie bow? It is made with the Natural Trim from Stampin' Up! and the 10 Second Bow Maker (when you purchase the 10 Second Bow Maker, you learn how to make these awesome double loop bows!!!)

If you like this card and want to create it yourself and need to order supplies, you can do that right here!

I hope that you like today's card that is all about how to make an all occasions card using Flower Shop from Stampin' Up!
