I love a good bundle, because I love things that coordinate. Coordination is the name of the game when it comes to card making!
And many times, I skip over a bundle if there is part of it I don't care for.
That's exactly how I almost missed the Everyday Details dies.
They are available in a bundle or on their own in the Jan-Apr catalog. I don't really like the stamp set in that bundle, as I wouldn't use it much. It's not bad, it's got cute fonts and sentiments, but it's just not my thing right now.
So I really didn't pay attention to the dies much.
But I knew I had seen these cute dotted dies somewhere and finally I went looking for them in the catalog, and boy am I glad I did!!!
I have ZERO idea why these dies were paired with this stamp set. It's a total head scratcher to me.
Let me show you this bundle.

If you look at the stamp set and are thinking it's not your thing either, do a double take on that die set!
The Everyday Details dies are AWESOME!
When I first got them, I actually thought I had a defective set. I'll share that story in a bit.
The Project
Last week, we had our Sketch Challenge Zoom in Stamping Family. These dies were PERFECT for it. And these Zooms are too much fun. I love them because I get to play along rather than playing hostess.
We all craft and chat together, everyone working on their own cards with their own supplies. At the end, everyone shares what they make, and it's just a fun experience!
Here's my card from our Zoom.

See how perfect that die cut circle is? And it's actually two circles that are layered, both are from the same Everyday Details die set.
So Was it Defective?
No, it wasn't. I didn't realize what all these dies do. I was expecting your typical nested die set. And it's not, it's EVEN BETTER!
One of the circles and one of the rectangles has dots on either side of the cut line. Meaning that you can have a circle cut out of the middle of your card and the polka dots around it – super cool for an image or sentiment to be inset.
I will make a card soon showing you that, if you can't picture it.
You can see a card I made with one of the rectangles here.
There's Never Been a Better Time to Order This Die Set!
It's still Sale-a-Bration time, and so that means free stamping supplies. Ordering this die set gets you very close to a free item, so seriously, don't wait!
Until Next Time…
I will see you again with another project. Until then, have a great day! XOXO, Meg
