Christmas Messages Meets Season of Style Christmas Card from Stampin' Up!
It's like winter here – kids are wearing coats at school today because it is a freezing 61 degrees!!! I kid about that, because it is often that temperature on Christmas morning. So it is not a big surprise that I decided to make a Christmas card to share with you this morning.
Over the weekend, my stamp club met and the focus was on Washi Tape, so also now big surprise that I still have Washi on the brain.
This card does go out of my comfort zone. I am a finished edge kind of person, so tearing off some Washi Tape and slapping it on card stock makes my heart race just a bit.
Here is the card:
When you have a fabulous ribbon, let it be the main focal point of your card. I like this Cherry Cobbler ribbon from Stampin' Up! because it is soft, it ties so easily and you can adjust it to finish it out without tearing your hair out.
Then my sentiment came from the Christmas Messages stamp set from Stampin' Up! I love fonts – and this set is full of fun and trendy fonts.
My most favorite part of this card, the amount of time it took to make. Honestly! It took me longer to take and edit the pictures than it did to make this card.
Step 1: Cut your Old Olive card stock (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″). Score and fold at 4-1/4″.
Step 2: Stamp sentiment from Christmas Messages in Old Olive ink in lower right hand corner of Very Vanilla (4″ x 5-1/4″).
Step 3: Tear Season of Style Washi Tape and secure to Very Vanilla.
Step 4: Wrap Cherry Cobbler ribbon around the Very Vanilla and adhere to the back side.
Step 5: Adhere Very Vanilla to Old Olive card front.
Step 6: Tie bow with Cherry Cobbler Ribbon with 10 Second Bow Maker and adhere to card front.
Step 7: Bling it up with Rhinestone Jewels to finish!!!
Seven steps to a done card! Now, if you are a regular visiter to my blog, I don't often list out the steps because it takes WAY too long, this one though, simple, simple, simple!

I *love* this card, it is gorgeous! Can you tell me what the 10 second bow maker is, please? Thanks! I’m definitely going to have to Pin your design and use it when I get myself some Cherry Cobbler ribbon (in October when the new quarter starts!). It is *gorgeous*. I found this one through Mojo Monday and I’m really glad I did. I have visited your site before, but will have to make sure it is bookmarked as well.

Hi Katie! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! The bow maker can be purchased at http://www.10secondbowmaker.com, just be sure to use the international option. Thank you also about the Pinterest button, I believe I was able to fix it. Have a great day! Meg
Just to let you know, Meg, your Pin It button at the bottom of this post is not working correctly, as it says that what is input from it is not valid to pin the post. I pulled it from your board, though.
I just ordered this washi tape and am glad for ideas on using it! Beautiful Christmas card and a great use of the mojo sketch!
I really enjoy your newsletters, projects, tutorials and craft space ideas. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Maryjane!
