Do you struggle with birthday cards to make for men? I mean, we love 'em but – seriously – it's hard to come up with ideas for cards that are both celebratory AND masculine.  Well, check out this colorful card that would SO be perfect for a guy:

This set uses the incredibly versatile stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge, which, shockingly is on the retiring list!  None of us who use it can believe this is being retired – it's seriously like the little black dress of stamping. It can be used with anything, can be dressed up or down, can be used on its own like here and can go subtle or wow. It does NOT look like much in the catalog but man oh man this is one set I will NEVER part with!

The technique I used to make this card might look super complicated but it's so easy you run the risk of becoming addicted to it. It's called Triple Time and one of the best things about this technique is that it looks fantastic with ANY STYLE of stamp. Flowers, lines, splotches like above, solid images, even words can be used to create this cool telescoping effect on a card.
