I'm not going to shy away from this statement…. I LOVE this card! I love it so much I can't even stand it!

If you know me at all, I love yellow and black together as a color combination. I've recently posted this card and this card using yellow and black.

When I first got my hands on the Beach Blankets and Brellas stamp set, this was the card I knew I wanted to make. It took several tries to get it just right.

Do you ever have those cards that are almost right, but not entirely?

The game changer was black and white striped patterned paper. Simple, easy, and on point!

I used a sentiment from a different stamp set, and that “fontiment” is awesome! “Fontiment” is what we say in Stamping Family when the font and the sentiment are spot on. It was a slip of the tongue that has stuck around for years now 🙂

I love our Stamping Family Zooms, we laugh and stamp together on a regular basis – it's just good for the soul!

Anyway, back to the card….

I used the pinwheel stamp along with a tiny circle stamp that I have had forever and ever. It's what I would call the Goldilock's circle. It's not too big, it's not too small… it's just right.

Let's take a look at this card:

See what I mean? How cute is this card? I love the simplicity of it, the colors, the image, the “fontiment”, and that scrap of black and white patterned paper ties it all together, doesn't it?

The Supplies

Here's a list of supplies I used to create this card other than the little circle stamp. Use the links below to order your supplies.

Your Turn

Now it's your turn to create! If you are in Stamping Family, make sure to add your version of this card to the card gallery so we can all see and love on it! See you in the next project. XOXO, Meg
