Stampin Up Coffee Break Paper

The past two posts I have shared things that as crafter, I won't part with, like the Stampin Up Coffee Break Paper.  I share the story of what I mean by that in the first post here.

This is another item I stocked up on.  I SO {heart} this paper!

UPDATED:  Stampin' Up! just announced a list of retiring products that are up to 50% off while supplies last!  You can see that list here.

The stamp set and framelits are staying, as are the corrugated pieces that coordinate – just the paper.  And the only color that is retiring that coordinates with this paper is the Soft Sky.  So if you don't have a package of Soft Sky, you might want to grab it when getting this paper.  BOTH the Coffee Break paper and Soft Sky card stock are while supplies last.

The other day, I had an idea brewing for a card – see what I did there?  Couldn't resist!!!

Before we dive into that, here is the fabulous paper I think everyone needs to stockpile in their craft supplies 🙂

Here is the overall card I made with it – BELOW I will share why I so love this card…

Why do I love this card?

#1 – I got to use up a TON of Garden Green scraps.  I always have a lot of these scraps from Christmas cards – but also – you don't have to use Garden Green.  The paper I chose for this card didn't have any green, so any green will do ya!

#2 – It has a LOT of texture going on.  I love that the don't-burn-yo-self wrapper (that I am sure has a technical name) die has texture, but then when you mix it with the corrugated pieces, you have the reverse textures going on.

#3 – With one package of this paper, you can make 12 of this card with the coffee stain background.  TWELVE!  Six per 12″ x 12″ sheet.

#4 – You can pair it with almost any sentiment.  I chose one from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

You Can Make It

Simple!!!  And so easy to put together while catching up on Blacklist (my new recent favorite show).

  1. Cut your card stock Soft Sky (4-1/4″ x 11″ & 1-1/4″ x 4), then scraps of Soft Suede, Garden Green and a wee little bit of Pink Pirouette or any other pink you want for the heart on the lid.
  2. Cut your patterned paper to 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces.
  3. Stamp your coffee cut outline in Early Espresso ink onto your Soft Suede card stock.
  4. Die cut all your pieces.
  5. Stamp your sentiment on the right side of your Soft Sky strip.
  6. Assemble and SEND!

The Supplies

Here is what you need to make this card, remember that the first two items I am listing below are WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  Just click on a picture below to start your order!  (The BUNDLE PRICING of the Coffee Cafe stamp set and framelits is going to retire, the items are not though.)

If you missed the Rose Wonder post or the Mini Treat Bag post, these are also two items I think all paper crafters need in their stash, be sure to go read them 🙂

I would say that I will miss this Stampin Up Coffee Break Paper, but I stocked up – so I can't say that!  And I hope you do too, it's a keeper for sure!
