Adorable Handmade Card To Send Love

Today we are making an adorable handmade card that's perfect for sending in the mail!  Sending love through the mail never gets old, is never out of date – is just spreading kindness and love – which is always relevant!  Think of someone that could use a little pick me up and picture them opening their mailbox and finding this card – can you see her smile?  Great, let's do it!

To make this card, there are three main supplies you need – all the supplies are listed below, but these are the three main items:

We are going to use those supplies with these fun colors:

The Making

This card is simple to make, you can make it in just six steps:

  1. To start making this card, start by dry embossing your Whisper White panel (4″ x 5-1/4″).
  2. Next, wrap a strip of Real Red ribbon around your dry embossed panel and then add this panel to your Night of Navy card base (4-1/4″ x 11″).
  3. Die cut a piece of Night of Navy using Stitched So Sweetly dies where the finished size is 2-1/2″ x 3-5/8″.
  4. Stamp your mailbox in Balmy Blue ink onto Whisper White (1-7/8″ x 3″), and then your hearts in Real Red ink, and your sentiment in Night of Navy ink.
  5. Secure this layer to your die cut label, then use Dimensionals to attach it to your card.
  6. Finish with a bow tied from the same Real Red ribbon.

July 2020 Hostess Code

For orders over $150 placed through my store, don't use the hostess code, you will still get you free tutorials from me. Also, if you don't get your tutorials, make sure in your Stampin Up store profile that you haven't selected the option to not allow the demonstrator to contact you. If that is checked, even if you use the code, I can't see your name/email, nuttin' – so I don't know where to send your tutorials.

Thank You

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out this card making idea, I hope you are inspired to create and send cards.  For over 10 years, I have been sharing card making here on the I Teach Stamping blog and I can't thank you enough for all of your love and support!
