Which do I like better, the name "Reason to Smile" or the Reason to Smile stamp set itself?  Honestly, I like both.  I am a huge fan of two step stamp sets, I always feel like such the amazing artist when I use them!  Second, how can you not like the name or the set when it is called Reason to Smile?  You have to smile when using it.

I actually started today's card using the Subtles collection, but really wanted more of a pop.  So I switched and used Riding Hood Red and Old Olive, a little Basic Black for layering and there ya go.

This card is for my mother in law.  If you have ever heard me talk about her, you would instantly know that I struck gold when getting a mother in law.  I hear my friends talk about how awful their "monster-in-law", and I am so fortunate to have Sheri as mine.  She came into town on Tuesday of last week for Matt's surgery and just left yesterday.  And she was such as huge help.  Whether it was playing with Emily, doing dishes, getting Emily out of the house for several hours, anything at all – she was on it!  And so this morning, I wanted to make a card just for her.

The Reason to Smile stamp set from Stampin' Up! is almost free this month and it is only available this month as well.  You can get it for only $5 with a $50 merchandise order (that is your total before s/h/t).  What could be better?
